Internal rotation of the feet

Internal rotation of the feet If your child walks with their feet turned inwards, this need not immediately concern you. Inward turning is a very natural process and is usually associated with the fact that the hips only develop and become “upright” in the course of a child's growth. If, however, you notice that your child often stumbles over their own feet, better foot guidance can be achieved by carefully modulating the PROPRIO® foot orthosis. Sometimes a slightly crescent-shaped foot position is also the reason for an internally rotated gait pattern. In this case, the PROPRIO® modification ensures better heel-to-toe movement of the foot with the aid of the externally rotating muscle groups.
